Digital Preservation and Archiving
The INTEGRACIÓN Journal guarantees perpetual accessibility to its scientific content through a dual preservation strategy:
1. Institutional Storage
We perform regular and redundant backups on the secure servers of the Universidad de Sonsonate (USO), ensuring immediate recovery in the event of technical failures.
2. Distributed Preservation (LOCKSS)
We are part of the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). We use the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create distributed archives among participating libraries, guaranteeing long-term preservation regardless of the original platform.
