Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting your manuscript to the journal "Integración," ensure it meets all the following requirements. Manuscripts that do not adhere to these guidelines will be returned for revision.
1. Preliminary and Ethical Aspects
Originality: I confirm that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and has not been previously published in any other language or format.
Simultaneous Submission: I confirm that the manuscript is not currently under review by another journal.
Declaration: I agree to sign the declaration of originality and copyright transfer when requested by the journal.
2. General File Format
Format: The file is saved in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
Font and Size: All text uses the Times New Roman font, 11-point size (as per the official template).
Line Spacing: The text has 1.5 line spacing.
Margins: Margins are set to 2.5 cm on all sides.
3. Required Author Identification
Unlike other processes, I have verified that the first page of the Word file includes the following required information for ALL authors:
- Full name.
Institutional affiliation (Institution and country).
Contact email address.
ORCID iD (full link).
4. Structure and Length
Length: The article meets the page range established for its type (e.g., 15-25 pages for research articles).
Content Order: The manuscript follows the template's order: Title (Spanish/English) > Author Information > Structured Abstract > Keywords > Abstract/Keywords > Introduction > Development > Conclusions > References.
Tables and Figures: They are numbered, include a descriptive title and source, and are editable.
5. Citations and References
Style Guide: All citations and references strictly follow the APA 7th edition format.
Correspondence: All in-text citations appear in the reference list, and vice versa.
DOI and URL: The reference list includes the DOI (preferably) or the verifiable URL for all consulted sources.
6. Additional Elements in OJS
Metadata: I commit to entering the complete metadata (names, affiliation, biographical sketch, etc.) into the OJS platform during the submission process.

Names and email addresses will be used exclusively for internal editorial management purposes and communication with authors.
In accordance with our double-blind peer review policy, authors' identities are kept strictly confidential and are never revealed to external reviewers.
2. Metadata Availability (Interoperability)
Only after the final acceptance and publication of the article will public metadata (name, affiliation, correspondence email, and ORCID number) be deposited in repositories and indexing databases (such as Latindex, DOAJ, Crossref) for the sole purpose of ensuring the visibility and scientific citation of the work.
3. Non-Commercialization
The journal guarantees that personal data will not be provided to third parties for commercial, marketing, or any other use unrelated to strict academic dissemination.
