This method allows the parties to resolve their disputes with the assistance of a neutral third party, such as a judge or arbitrator. Its importance is emphasized as a form of self-compositional resolution, where there are no winners or losers. The article also outlines the procedures and legal competencies within Salvadoran legislation, including cases in which conciliation is not applicable.
