Anti-Plagiarism and Originality Policy

Revista Integración maintains a strict commitment to academic integrity. All manuscripts received are subjected to similarity analysis using the specialized software iThenticate before beginning the review process.

Allowed Similarity Threshold: 20%

Manuscripts exceeding this percentage will be returned for immediate correction or rejected, at the Editor's discretion. Any form of plagiarism, including undeclared self-plagiarism, is considered a serious breach of editorial ethics.

Peer Review Process

To ensure scientific quality, all articles are evaluated under the double-blind system, ensuring mutual anonymity between authors and reviewers throughout the process.

1. Assignment of Experts Each manuscript is assigned to a minimum of two external evaluators with proven experience in the specific subject matter of the work.
2. Verdict and Criteria Reviewers base their verdict on originality, methodological rigor, and scientific relevance. Possible decisions are: Accept, Accept with minor changes, Request major revision, or Reject.
3. Evaluation Deadlines A standard period of 3 weeks is established for peers to submit their evaluation. Subsequently, authors will be notified of specific deadlines for incorporating requested corrections.
4. Transparency and Recognition In recognition of their invaluable intellectual labor, the journal will publish annually the list of reviewers who have collaborated in maintaining editorial quality.
