Reflection on the Application of Group Dynamics, “T-group”: Teaching Natural Sciences in Higher Education
Keywords:
Chemistry, Group dynamics, Natural sciences, Teaching, Training groupAbstract
This paper reflects on the application of group dynamics
in the teaching of natural sciences, specifically chemistry,
using the «Training group» (T-Group) technique. The
article presents an analysis of pedagogical theories,
ranging from traditional education to progressive
approaches, and discusses the limitations of conventional
teaching methods alongside the need to integrate group
dynamics. Additionally, it highlights the contributions
of authors such as Kurt Lewin and Antón Makárenko in
the conceptualization and practice of this methodology.
The aim is to propose an adapted model for learning
general chemistry at the university level, designed to
enhance communication, teamwork, and self-awareness
among students.
