Abstract

This article discusses the protagonism of Black women, considering reflections on their experiences in entrepreneurship and social innovation. The research employed a qualitative approach and a methodology based on the State of Knowledge, developed through a literature review. Google Scholar was chosen as the platform for this analysis, with a timeframe of 2019 to 2023. The search and selection of studies used descriptors such as: Black women, protagonism, resistance, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. Fifteen works were found, most of them focusing on the protagonism of Black women, which point to a tendency that demonstrates the formation of Black feminist thought. In this sense, it is valid to state that these works are characterized by highlighting Black women as intellectuals, whose experiences help to confront the silencing of their stories full of creativity and struggle for survival. The empowerment of these Black women in society motivates and mobilizes other women to take ownership of their own stories.
